At India Energy Week 2025, Toyota Kirloskar Motor showcased its commitment to sustainable mobility by highlighting its adoption of alternative powertrains, renewable energy integration in manufacturing, local supply chain strengthening, and extensive workforce upskilling initiatives. These efforts support clean energy adoption, reduced carbon emissions, and local economic growth.

On July 5, 2023, Toyota Kirloskar Motor signed a Memorandum of Settlement with its Employees Union to enhance worker welfare through measures including wage increases, a 5-day workweek, expanded medical insurance, and additional employee benefits. The agreement reinforces a respectful and balanced work environment and underscores the company’s commitment to prioritizing its workforce.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor, as part of the Toyota Group, signed an MoU with the Government of Karnataka on May 8, 2022, to invest INR 4,100 crores. The initiative aims to boost local manufacturing, generate employment, develop local supplier ecosystems, and promote greener technologies aligned with the Make in India and Atma Nirbhar Bharat missions.
